May in Cividale Youth

The City of Cividale del Friuli, located in the north-east part of Italy, memorable for its landscape, architecture, culture, is one of the small jewels of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, soaked in history. UNESCO has recognized the peculiarity of this location by the serial site “The Longobards in Italy: places of power (568-774 ac)” and in 2011 Cividale has been listed as UNESCO World Heritage. The site is the scenary connecting the main longobard cities in the historical period allowing the preservation and the spread of the Roman and Christian culture. The event “May in Cividale” is well inserted In this context which, accompanying the closure of the school year, wants to reaffirm the cultural vitality typical of the city, and also wants to reaffirm the quality of youth promoting new developments and expressions.
